If approved, the Tesoro Savage Crude Oil export terminal will handle up to 360,000 barrels of oil per day, and bring 4 more explosive oil trains per day through the Columbia River Gorge.

We need you to show up at the last public hearing to stop North America’s largest crude oil export terminal. This is our final chance to tell Governor Inslee that he needs to reject this project!

We will hold a rally and photo at 12:00, and the hearing will go from 1:00-9:00.

The Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council is holding this last hearing before giving their recommendation to Governor Inslee, who has the final say on the project. EFSEC will be taking public comments regarding the draft industrial stormwater permit. The industrial stormwater permit, while not the main decision point for the overall project, contains significant flaws that should lead EFSEC to deny the permit. The storage and handling of huge quantities of crude oil will create pollution harmful to the Columbia River and groundwater. EFSEC shouldn’t grant any permit for the reckless, unnecessary Tesoro Savage terminal.

Prepare testimony if you wish to speak, and wear red!
