We have some exciting news to share: Five of our incredible Healthy Climate Action Team volunteers have stepped up to issue a $5,000 matching challenge in honor of Earth Day on April 22nd. We need your help to meet their generous match by the end of April.

Will you support our work for a healthy climate in honor of Earth Day with a financial contribution today, knowing that your donation will be matched 1 to 1?

In recognition of Earth Day, Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility is launching this matching challenge to celebrate the numerous victories that our Healthy Climate Program has helped make possible while looking forward to funding this critically important work in the years to come.

Over the past decade, we have been leaders in the regional movement for a healthier climate by providing a much-needed public health voice in campaigns to stop fossil fuel infrastructure, including the Jordan Cove LNG proposal and the Millennium Bulk Terminal coal facility proposal, supporting the passage of the Portland Clean Energy Fund, and organizing to pass health-centered climate justice legislation. Our Healthy Climate Action Team of volunteers and staff continues to build upon our many victories even through a global pandemic and increasingly frequent extreme weather events.
