Building Resilience Through Storytelling

Right now, too many of our homes and places we gather put us at risk from the harms of climate change like extreme heat and wildfire smoke, and the way we heat and cook with fossil fuels is making things worse, especially for lower-income and frontline communities.

The Resilient, Efficient Buildings Bill Package is moving through the legislature to make our homes & buildings safer, cleaner, and more affordable. You can help to get it over the finish line!

Join Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility for the Building Resilience Storytelling Party!

Wednesday, April 5th from 2:00pm - 3:00pm

At this event, you’ll join climate and environmental justice advocates like you from across the state. It’ll include training on how to write an effective testimony, give you time to write and workshop, and ask questions of our expert coalition partners. All written testimony will be submitted for the public hearing in the following days!

RSVP today!

Once you create this short, personal story it becomes a key tool for you as an advocate. You can share it with your lawmakers in testimony or email, you can send it to the newspaper, you can use it to record a social media video for your friends or community, and so much more.

This is an excellent opportunity to take action to ensure our homes and buildings are more resilient to protect us from climate harms and lower energy bills! I hope to see you there!

Oregon PSR is proud to join dozens of organizations and thousands of Oregonians, all sharing a vision for making Oregon’s homes and buildings healthier, affordable, resilient, and powered by clean energy to help fight climate change.
