Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility

This year's International Day of Peace educational and cultural event, which focuses on the UN's international theme of Climate Action for Peace, will feature a facilitated panel discussion identifying linkages between climate change and global peace and security issues, a cultural dance and procession, a peace pole dedication by the CEO of Hostelling International, a Rangoli art and language lesson, a reception featuring local food and wine, and small group discussions, tabling by local organizations, and networking opportunities. Oregon PSR board member Maxine Fookson, RN PNP will be speaking on our behalf at this event.
