Update (5/6/20): Heartfelt thanks to the 12 amazing donors, who rose to the challenge to meet our $1000 match yesterday for #givingtuesdaynow! Not only that, but another donor stepped up to pledge an additional $1000 bringing our total raised to $3000. You can join them in supporting our work. We can't do this without you!
With the COVID-19 pandemic laying bare the inequities and misplaced spending priorities of our society, the voice of medicine and of public health must be at the forefront of shaping our path forward, and that Oregon PSR can be a powerful voice for a just recovery.
Exciting news: A generous donor just sent us $1,000 and challenged us to match it in online donations today for #GivingTuesday. Donate now to help us meet our match!

As our Board President Dr. Pat O’Herron wrote, Oregon PSR is working to create:
“The kind of world where we stockpile medical supplies, not nuclear weapons; where we bailout the people, not the billionaires; where we avoid an economic depression with a Green New Deal, not disaster capitalism.”
The public health and economic crisis engendered by the pandemic is impacting our community in ways that we don't yet fully know, including many of our health professional members working on the front lines. What we do know is that those communities most directly impacted by the issues we work on are being hit hardest, exacerbating the health problems of those already disproportionately suffering from the impacts of climate change, war and militarism, nuclear weapons spending, and racial and economic injustice.
This is a critical time for us to continue our momentum to build a healthy, just and peaceful world. Donate now to help us meet our $1,000 matching challenge.
