Les AuCoin Lecture with Jeff Goodell

Les AuCoin Lecture with Jeff Goodell

Oregon PSR is pleased to share an essential upcoming event hosted by Pacific University. On Tuesday, September 30, acclaimed author and investigative journalist Jeff Goodell will speak in Forest Grove as the inaugural guest of the Les AuCoin Human Rights Lecture Series. Drawing from his latest book, The Heat Will Kill You First: Life and Death on a Scorched Planet, Goodell will discuss the urgent health and humanitarian impacts of rising global temperatures, while also offering hope for solutions. This free event requires advance registration. For those who want to dive deeper, Pacific’s Boxer Book Club will be reading and discussing the book in September, with both virtual (Sept. 27) and in-person (Sept. 30) gatherings.

Advanced Registration Required (Click here to register)

If you registered for the presentation for its originally scheduled date and can still attend the new in-person date of Sept 30., your tickets are good for the new date. No action is needed. We hope to see you then!

If you are no longer able to attend, we would greatly appreciate it if you would release your ticket for other guests. We expect seating to be limited. You can cancel your registration with a quick email to [email protected].
