Join our community partners at the War Prevention Initiative for National Security in Turbulent Times, a discussion on US nuclear policy with Win Without War Executive Director Stephen Miles and Ploughshares Fund Program Director Michelle Dover.

The current state of US nuclear policy, the fight to diversify the voices making crucial decisions about our national security, and how each of us can be advocates for a safer world will be discussed, and the discussion will be followed by a Q&A session with the speakers.

Stephen Miles is the Executive Director of Win Without War and has a strong background in campaign politics and grassroots advocacy. He previously worked for the global campaigning organization Avaaz, as well as on multiple federal, state, and local electoral campaigns, and as the Executive Director of the American Hellenic Council. Stephen is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Tulane University with academic expertise in humanitarian interventions and Middle Eastern politics.

Michelle Dover is Program Director at Ploughshares Fund, providing strategic guidance on grantmaking and performance. She is a former researcher at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies and Nonproliferation Fellow at the NNSA. Michelle graduated from University of Denver and American University, where she studied international relations and conflict resolution.
