Houston-based NEXT Renewables wants to build a massive non-conventional diesel refinery at Port Westward. NEXT proposes to locate multiple miles of rail tracks along with a huge refinery on unstable soil, amid wetlands, next to blueberry and mint crops, near homes, and across the road from a Buddhist monastery.
We need your help to stop NEXT from receiving the 401 Water Quality Certification that would allow them operate their facilities in ways that will devastate human and environmental health.
Sign on to our letter today and tell the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality to deny NEXT's application!
