Oregon's Department of Environmental Quality is providing an opportunity for Oregonians to comment on the Trump administration's environmental rollbacks.
The US Environmental Protection Agency is proposing to change standards for national automobile fuel efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions from coal-fired power plants.
Join progressive communities around the country in showing up and demonstrating that these rollbacks don't represent our interests!
Commenting also gives our organizations legal standing to sue to prevent these rules from taking effect.
DEQ will collect and record public comments on the Safer Affordable Fuel Efficient Vehicles Rule and the Affordable Clean Energy Rule and will submit the comments to the EPA by the respective public comment deadlines. Written and verbal comments will be accepted at the hearing only.
