Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility

We hope that you will join Oregon PSR as we connect our community of members and celebrate our accomplishments at our summer picnic. We're so excited to host an in-person event after such a long time of pandemic-related social distancing!

We'll be gathering this Thursday, July 14th from 2 until 7 PM at Oxbow Park's Dragonfly Picnic Shelter (near 3010 SE Oxbow Parkway in Gresham), so please join us whenever you are available. The Dragonfly Picnic Area is on the left (riverside), near the campground entrance (see page 2 for map of the park). This event is free, but there is a $5 fee per car to enter the park. If you are interested in carpooling, please email [email protected] by Wednesday, July 13th to offer or request a ride. 

We will provide delicious tamales (vegan, veggie, and meat options) and beans and rice from Mixteca PDX, as well as drinks including non-alcoholic beverages, beer, and wine. And, in the spirit of coming together for a summer community potluck, we encourage you to bring a side dish to share. Please bring your own reusable plate and tableware if possible.

This will be a fun, family-friendly event, and all are welcome, so please invite your friends and colleagues to join us in celebrating!

*Please note that, in the interest of public health, we are asking that only those fully vaccinated against COVID-19 join us for this in-person gathering.
