Come help launch the drive to put the Portland Clean Energy Fund (PCEF) on the ballot! We've won the legal challenge from corporate interests, and now have just 60 days to gather 43,000 signatures!  

We know we can do it, but we need your help to make it possible!  

 

Now is the time! PCEF is Portland’s chance to become a national model for transitioning our city to renewable energy in a manner that directly supports racial justice and equality. From funding new rooftop solar and energy efficiency projects to a robust job-training program for underserved communities, PCEF is how we can turn progressive grassroots values into tangible benefits for Portlanders and our climate. We cannot count on the Trump administration to make the progress we need, we must take local action. 

With a flood of support from over 150 community organizations, businesses, elected officials, and faith leaders, we know we can win even though corporations will put up a fight. It's time that corporations pay their fair share and invest in Portland communities. 

Join us this Wednesday, May 9th at our new campaign office in the Oregon Chapter, Sierra Club’s building (1821 SE Ankeny St, PDX 97214) at 6:30 pm for our launch party, to pickup petition signature packets, to get the basics of signature collection, and to hear how we’re going to use grassroots power to pass PCEF this November!
