Public Hearing: Stop the World's Largest Methanol Refinery

Join Oregon PSR, our colleagues at the Sierra Club, and others at the last public hearing to stop the world's largest fracked-gas-to-methanol refinery, proposed in Kalama, WA.

If built, the refinery would consume more fracked gas than all of the Pacific Northwest cities combined, require new fracked gas pipelines across the region, pollute the air with cancer-causing toxins, and endanger our dwindling salmon and orca populations.

Permitting agencies will hear from the public about whether this project should be approved or denied. Join us in packing the room and demanding that they deny this project!

This is a free event, but your RSVP is appreciated.

Learn more and share this event on Facebook.

Also, even if you are able to attend the hearing, please submit your comments to Washington's Governor Inslee, the Washington Department of Ecology, and the Port of Kalama to make your voice heard in opposition to this dangerous and unnecessary project.
