Rally & March Against Hate - Sunday, September 10th

PSUAH_Banner_photo.jpg

White nationalists plan to once again descend upon the streets of Portland to spread their message of hate and recruit for their cause. Join Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility and our partners in the Portland Stands United Against Hate coalition to counter their message of hate and division with our message of peace, health, and justice for all people.

WHEN: Sunday, September 10th, 12:30 - 4:00 PM
WHERE: Terry D. Shrunk Plaza (meet at the Oregon PSR green banner at the corner of SW Madison & 4th Avenue in Portland) for a rally followed by a march to the Salmon Street Fountain near the white nationalist rally
RSVP HERE

Health professionals know that people of color, immigrants, and other marginalized communities are already at the greatest risk from militarism, climate chaos, and environmental injustice. White nationalist groups marching in our streets pose a health and safety threat to our communities. We need to show up en masse to demonstrate that their message of hate is not welcome here.

RSVP to join the Oregon PSR contingent in the rally and march, and find us near the green Oregon PSR banner. Please bring your own signs if you wish. You are welcome to join us for the rally only if you would prefer to avoid marching near the white supremacists.
