I will be moving on from my role as Executive Director at Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR) over the next few months. I plan to stay on through mid-March to help with a smooth leadership transition, and will be available to support the new Oregon PSR Executive Director. I am excited that this is a positive change for Oregon PSR and for me. I have served in this role for 13 years, and I think it is important for healthy organizations and for the movements we work in to welcome new leadership periodically.
Please help Oregon PSR find its next Executive Director by sharing this job announcement with your networks and especially with anyone who you think would have an interest in taking on this very rewarding position.
I am proud of what I, along with our incredible staff, supportive board and advisory board, and so many dedicated members have been able to accomplish in the time I have been here, and am confident that the organization is in a good position for this transition. I am excited to support this new chapter for Oregon PSR, an organization that will always have a special place in my heart.
I am not going far away, though. I have accepted a new position as Policy Director at Columbia Riverkeeper, a close partner to Oregon PSR, and a group I have admired for many years. I am eager to focus my attention on policy to protect the Columbia River and all who depend on it when I start this new position in April, and to continue to collaborate with Oregon PSR on many coalition efforts and campaigns.
Please think about who you know that might be a good fit for Oregon PSR's next Executive Director and encourage them to apply for the position.
In Peace and Health,
